About Lauren

In 2019, I landed in Bali, the Island of The Gods, a place I now feel blessed to call home. Covid then took a sudden hit, and after losing my job as a yacht chef, I took on a new role as a project manager and interior designer of my and my partner's beautiful home.

I thought, "what better way to express one's vision and heal than through our surroundings, a place we call home, by incorporating all our senses of sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch?"

During the building and designing process, my goal was to create a space that would remind us of our deepest values. A place where we can retreat to relax, feel protected, and thrive brought forward through colors, lighting, patterns, textures, or the simplicity of aesthetically pleasing elements.

Overall, I realized I have a natural instinct for feeling and paying attention to the finer details while eliminating unnecessary clutter. In addition, I loved creating a space as a source of energy that enables you to flow and harmonize.

After the trials and errors of laying a solid foundation for my home life, in 2022, I embarked on the next chapter. I landed a position as director of project coordination and logistics at an art and fine furniture-based company, iBal Designs.

Working directly under owner extraordinaire Charles Orchard, I oversee and organize everything from private villas to 5-star hotels and beach clubs worldwide. As I continue to learn while making time for my other passion projects, I feel excited, and who knows where it will take me next. To be continued...
