How I Pray

Do you pray? I certainly do, and definitely during a new moon.

When I pray, I feel present, connected, and grounded to something greater than me and feel I am being divinely guided. When I pray, it's not just for me; it's for those I love and the world as a whole. When I pray, I build a stronger sense of trust within myself, which innately allows me to trust others and let go of the illusion of control.

All beautiful things, so why do I sometimes step away from my true essence and spiritual spidey senses at certain times in my life? In the ebb and flow of life, it's not uncommon to occasionally veer away from our spiritual practices as distractions, responsibilities, and the demands of the world often pull us in different directions.

Just like the moon waxes and wanes, so does our connection to our inner selves. Embracing the cycles of life, I've come to realize that it's okay to drift from time to time, for these moments of divergence provide opportunities for growth and introspection.

During the new moon, I am reminded of the limitless potential for renewal and reconnection that lies within each one of us and the importance of returning to my spiritual center. And I continue learning to bridge the gap between my daily and spiritual self. Happy New Moon!

Much Love,

Lauren
