Born To Be A Badass, Chapter Share

This week I've decided to jump back to Part 1, Chapter 9, called Everything Happen's in 3's. Chapter 9 is the last chapter of Part 1 and brings it full circle. Please take note for privacy purposes; besides a few, no one's real name in my book will be used. I hope you guys enjoy it, and I would love your feedback!

"Jeremy and I got back to his apartment after grabbing some lunch when I received a call from my neighbor. She informed me that I had a family of four living in my apartment.

That's strange? Where is Sean, and who is this family living in my apt? Maybe it's his family visiting for the holidays? Still, what happened to our agreement to keep a low profile until January once I spoke with my landlord about him subletting? I immediately called Sean to find out what was going on. Without my knowledge, he decided to do a house swap with my apartment, which allowed him to be in Vegas for the holidays. I thought, are you fucking kidding me? How dare you!

I was furious, and I knew my landlord would be calling me any day now to ask me what was up. But, since I was leaving in less than two months for my sabbatical worldwide, I saw no other choice but to deal with this. Was this turning into the same nightmare that I dealt with from the last sublet with Ashley? I felt trapped between a rock and a hard place.

A few days later, low and behold, I got a phone call from my landlord. She asked me what was going on, and I decided my best bet was to be as honest as possible. So I told her that Sean had moved a month earlier than we had discussed. Then, reasoning that his lease was up on his apartment, his family was visiting for the holidays.

My honesty made no difference; she was unhappy about any of it. Still frustrated with me over the Ashley situation, she felt it was best that I just let go of the apt, and once I get back to NYC, she would be more than happy to find me another.

I begged and pleaded with her, of course, because Sean had just moved in, and I felt bad asking him to leave, even though he had already disobeyed my wishes and went against the terms of our agreement. However, her decision was final, and she didn't want him or any of my so-called friends living in the space.

I called Sean to give him the bad news and what happened next was something I wouldn't have imagined in a million years!"

Sending love & light
