Million Meals Paddle

I'm reaching out in hopes that you can help me out. My partner signed up for a fundraising event to paddle 10km in open water to help feed Bali's struggling communities this upcoming Sunday, October 25th. Unfortunately, I'm not much of a surfer or paddler; hence I will show my love and support from the sidelines.

Anyone who has ever had a surf lesson will appreciate that this is not for the faint of heart. It is expected to be 3+ hours, minus the fun is catching waves part. All, of course, done for a good cause!

This is a difficult time for everyone. With more than half of Bali's economy depending on tourism, the COVID-19 pandemic impact is incredibly apparent. In addition, most of the island's locals have lost their jobs, leaving no way for them to provide the basic necessity of food for themselves or their families.

The Million Meals Paddle is raising funds for Scholars of Sustenance, the food rescue foundation, to continue to grow their Food Rescue kitchen and Village Outreach programs providing relief for the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bali is my home, and the people here hold a special place in my heart. Now is the time to repay their kindness, and my partner and I would very much appreciate your help! Please click the link in my bio for more information and to donate. https://donorbox.org/edward-long-price-million-meals-paddle Even $10 provides 40 meals.

And if you are in the Bali area, please join us at Old Man's finish line to celebrate this Sunday, October 25th. I hope to see you there!

Thanks so much in advance!
