L.E.MENTS

Staying aligned and grounded in my home environment, I have created a project that brings me great bliss and fulfillment. I'm sincerely excited to announce that I'm finally ready to launch this project that I have been working on for the past year. Please welcome L.E.MENTS, a creative endeavor that I hope to bring joy into your life as much as it has given me.

My love for traditional Buddhist mala prayer beads is kind of a funny story, which, of course, has to do with a boy. One night I was working at a bar in New York City when a cute boy stumbled in. He was wearing this beautiful Mala necklace and began to describe to me what it meant for him, its energy and purpose. Intrigued, my love for the Mala would continue to grow.

My next encounter with mala beads happened during my travels around the world. From South East Asia to the Bahamas, where I did my yoga certification, I found a fascination and attraction to them even more. I decided at that point, how cool would it be to create my own.

Fast-forward, and here comes my first attempt into a world of healing crystals and connection to mother earth. My malas, traditionally made with 108 count beads, individual knotted, and incorporate the 109th guru bead. The number 108 is a sacred number in Hinduism and Buddhism traditions, repeating a mantra during meditation, and the 109th guru bead sets the wearer's intention.

The coins I have added as a personal touch from my travels around the world. I believe that we are all connected, and I'm hoping to bring that connection to you. Sterling Silver details I use for grounding and each stone has been hand-selected has its healing purpose. I have chosen different colored tassels for a beautiful finish touch representing one thousand petals of a lotus flower. Being a Reiki Master, I have also infused each Mala to promote healing.

Each made with my personal touch with loving magic in Bali, Indonesia, connects you to your god or goddess within. And for each Buddhist Mala purchased a 10% Net Profit will go to the ECC Nepal https://eccnepal.org/, a non-profit organization that gives Nepali children hope and opportunities through better education.

Lauren
