Tribe

My tribe is everyone I have encountered at different points in my life; it doesn't have to be just a few friends.

As I continue to write my book here in Bali, I look back, approximately 3 1/2 years ago, to this photograph taken. It was during my time volunteering in the Amazon doing medicinal plant research with a Shaman. At this point in my life, this was my tribe.

I have realized that anyone I come into contact with becomes part of my story, my growth, and part of me.

Some may have faded away, and that's ok. It's all part of the journey. And as more people enter my life, my tribe will continue to be ever-expanding.
