Home Sweet Home

Did you know that your environment is 40% of your mental state? And our surroundings are often external reflections of our internal worlds. Our homes can say a lot about who we are and what we think is essential in life. Your home should feel like your safety net. A place where you can retreat to relax, embrace healthy relationships, feel protected, and thrive.

Feeling comfortable at home wasn't always the case for me. Even so, I would always try to find peace with my circumstances to advance at my best. Not always easy, but incorporating simple things without spending a lot of money, like making your bed or adding plants, can help improve any home environment.

I would often go through a purging process and dive into a deep cleanse within my home, in essence, a cleanse within myself. Having structure and discipline to do so has helped me create my own sacred space. No matter where you go, home is always within you. I am grateful to live in Bali; I have created a sanctuary where I can continue learning and growing.

Think of your environment as a source of energy. To flow within this energy source, the best thing you can do is remove any unnecessary clutter. By eliminating clutter, you can harmonize within your surroundings. The goal is to create a space that reminds you of your own deepest values and inspires you to realize them.

Sending light & love,

Lauren
